Arrival in Nairobi

• Landed in Nairobi and checked into the hotel to rest up before heading to the coast.

• Anything not needed in Mombasa stayed behind in Nairobi and was picked up on the return.

Nairobi → Mombasa

• Short flight down to the coast, landing early afternoon.

• Settled into a group Airbnb for the week.

• A private chef and a van with a full-time driver kept the group fed and moving.

Tsavo East safari

• A full day out in Tsavo East; pickup before sunrise, back after sunset.

Mon · Nov 17

Exploring Mombasa

• Breakfast, then Fort Jesus Museum, lunch and shopping around Old Town.

• Happy hour, followed by a sunset dhow dinner cruise.

• A well-earned night out dancing.

Tue · Nov 18

Wasini Island

• Early breakfast, then the drive out to the island.

• Dolphin spotting and snorkeling at Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park.

• Dinner to close out the coastal leg of the trip.

Back to Nairobi, on to Central Kenya

• Early flight back to Nairobi, then a drive up to Central Kenya with a lunch stop at the Blue Post Hotel.

• Checked into Aberdare Country Club with rooms overlooking the mountain ranges for the next stretch of the trip.

Rhino day

• Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where we touched and interacted with the last two living white Rhinos

Fri · Nov 21

Safari, horseback riding & hiking

• A full day of activities around the Aberdare Country Club grounds.

• Party after dinner to keep the energy going.

Sat · Nov 22

Check out & celebrate

• Checked out and moved to FK Resort & Spa for the night.

• An evening celebration at a family estate, with a DJ after-party to close it out.

Sun · Nov 23

Homeward bound

• Last stop at the Maasai Market for shopping, plus a visit to the Giraffe Centre.

• Drove back into Nairobi to catch flights home.
